No, that's not it at all. The Tea Party is full of "know nothings" who have been riled up by corporations to fight taxes on the wealthy. Those corporations and powerful interests have, in a lot of cases, harnessed the power of the latent racism of those people to do so.

Their message of "fiscal conservatism" is invalid because it's really only interested in cutting taxes for the wealthy.

Some do. Some don't. According to polls, they seem to be all over the map.

"Some Tea Party members are racist, maybe more so than non-Tea Party members."

No maybe about it. There you go, trying to spin it again.

"Therefore, the Tea Party's message of fiscal conservatism is invalid."

But, Tenchu, that isn't their only message. And some of their messages are just flat wrong. That is what discredits them.
