Let's see..... How about letting outside counsel overbill and double bill and charge the gov't for everything from their own dry cleaning to gourmet dinners complete with bottles of expensive wine, etc.... How about those same firms staffing cases with "wet behind the ears associates" and billing them out at premium rates...? How about the billions of dollars left on the table in the liquidation of bank and S&L assets....? "Investors" made millions buying assets at "distress sales" and the taxpayer got screwed. How about the current day "loss sharing" agreements the FDIC makes with acquiring institutions? They are a travesty.
