I think the beginning Tea Parties of a year ago were organized by people who considered themselves Republican (meaning they didn't usually vote for the Democrat policies)....but I could tell at least here in Seattle that by August of last year, there was a definite change. There were many people at that one who were Independents and Dems -- people who self identified themselves as voting that way more often than not, BUT that didn't like the direction this current Adm was headed.

To me, seeing the Seattle and Bellevue Tea Party notes on the blog mentioned on this post last night...Seeing the crowd at the Seattle TP, right in the very heart of DT Seattle Lib Land, shows me that this movement is serious, and one that should make our elected Representatives sit up and take notice.
