That's an incomplete picture...only shows the public debt.

I see both sides using those charts. They have a whole lot worse problem than that. They're really useless.

What they show is the debt level during a presidential term. That's not the same thing as who caused the debt. Obama is hardly responsible for the debt caused by Bush's wars even though the debt exists during his term. Likewise, the next president and the one after that won't be responsible for any debt that derives from Obama's health care legislation.

Regardless, the same is true regarding the debt additions stemming from Obama's spending.
