it's true they rep. the vast majority of Americans. you haven't even been to a tea party, you don't have a clue. you get everything from CNN I guess you also think it's too cold in iceland to have a valcano, like CNN does

CJ, people are wary of too much government intrusion. Most are tired of having taxes raised while seeing government services cut. That's what the Tea Party wants to counter.

People who believe in the minority view, namely big government and higher taxes, have a vested interest in portraying the Tea Party as a bunch of racist homophobes.
