That was Buckley's influence. He was responsible for driving the loons out of the GOP. Unfortunately, that changed during the 1980s when the loons were invited back in. They now control the party.

Then it was a testament to Buckley....because I thought all through the 90s that they were at the top of their game. They have really pulled a fast one over the American public.
