That would defeat the purpose IMO. The rest of the equipment providers would just gang up with INTC and come up with a competing standard. SNDK best bet would be to be independent , manufacture as much as they can and collect royalties on what they do not have the capacity to manufacture.

ED,,Just to address your thoughts.. I also figured the secondary was
needed just as was reported,, working capital,, meaning $$ needed to
accomodate immediate production demand.. I also thought of a merger or buyout,,but IMO that's too premature.. There's too much going on too fast at SNDK.. I believe a buyout would command a big buck and
the dust is just now settling from Flash Memory and related products becoming "standards"..IMO I would think a major player has a
watchful eye on SNDK.. A news release article I read today mentioned
SEG owning 25% of SNDK ,,I thought it was 20% ??,, any supporting
facts on that??....Thanks for your info .. Best to ya...JW
