All very well and good IF the houses are short. But on Nasdaq I will bet you that retail customers are encouraged to go out at the bid as
it fits the plans of the shorting-co-operating houses. In between bids and offers would spoil their spread. Did you ever try to enter 1500 shares in between a spread on the VSE or any other market? The broker honks at you like you are a push cart on the freeway. Ok Ok he says ..if you wanna, but... What are they trying to do?.. even it up in their spread that is all. Maintain that fiction that that is the market. What they and their friends say it is. With 80% of these trash markets it's "go out at the bid, TAKE THE OFFER OR DIE." You would think it was the mafia. So I would say the spread trading is piggy backed clients.

And any way if IT IS only MM's jerking the stock..DOWN..then where is this retail support or any other support?

Why don't they sell into support? Makes more sense. And if they are short and so damned knowledgeable, why so?

Stock clean up before the big push? a Broker? betting on never never?
Hey.. they sell to suckers.. they know better than to put on a sucker suit.
