I said 'most of the time' in my post, because we did have a falling out with the contractor who put in A/C last summer. The electrician he used had to come out three times, and once more when the county inspector failed the work (on a minor issue of code changes the guy didn't know about). We had a maintenance contract with them, and it became so problematic that the customer service rep (the guy's wife) canceled it. We said fine, we have lost confidence in your company anyway. Then we got somebody else to put in a new furnace, as the old one failed.

One more complaint about the A/C contractor: They failed to notify us of the potential for getting a $1500 rebate for a high efficiency unit, which would have made our cost comparable to the standard efficiency unit he installed. Probably had one in his warehouse he had to get rid of.

They got a pretty strong letter, and I will not recommend them.
