JUL08 oil dropped because speculators sold to cover holes elsewhere. Today, oil has not that height to fall. There are not many speculators holding lots of oil right now. Thus not like likely to drop. Greece showed that the market needs something to fear somewhere every day. Greece was the last. Needs a new one. GS is now the object of fear. Chanos dreams of China collapse. Besides, decoupling has happened. Those US events will have less and less and impact.
