DATA DIMENSIONS - Says Projects Started In Third Quarter Valued At Minimum $39 Mi llion American Market News from Market News Publishing, Tuesday, October 28, 1997 at 18:09 said today that it began work on new Year 2000 business during the third quarter ending September 30, 1997 that would result in sales of at least $39 million over the life of the projects. "Our business continues to grow very strongly," said Larry Martin, chairman of Data Dimensions, which reported sales of $9 million for the second quarter ending June 30 and sales of $14.8 million for 1996's fiscal year ending December 31. Martin said that the new business comes from both new clients and existing clients which have added additional assignments. He explained that many companies have not granted permission for their names to be used, but he said that numbered among them were very large drug companies, publishing companies, health care organizations, and finance organizations, including investment firms, insurance companies and banks. Martin said that he expected many of these projects would ultimately result in even greater revenues as the work proceeded. Data Dimensions specializes in developing processes and technologies to help businesses and government agencies manage solutions for enterprise-wide systems changes. Since 1991, it has focused on assisting major organizations plan and execute programs for resolving the Year 2000 technology problem.
