To whatever extent the "mainstream media" went after "Joe" the "Plumber," they were examining a plank of the McCain campaign. If Sam had just been a normal guy asking a straight question, no one would've ever given a crap about him. But he was brought up like seven times by McCain in the debate that followed, and it became pretty apparent that he was a manufactured character. But you choose to ignore that. -"Z"
