Curly,

Excellent letter, you seem to have covered everything very well. I will be happy to send it and CC's to MS and Monty. Let me know.

A thought would be, to have many here send a copy.

Best Regards,
Tom

Curl Man: I think Cymer should send and sign it on behalf on its shareholders ... (how to do that?)

Also send copies to the Wall Street Journal, Barrons and Bloomberg News.

Lets Go!

Good luck.

Bob

Curly, Re: Your proactive campaign

SHARE BUYBACK
I think this would be excellent for the following reasons:
1. An announcement of this should end the downward momentum.
2. Shares bought at $22 would strengthen our company greatly as the price appreciates over the next 3 years.

SEC INVESTIGATION
I think you should forget this for the following reasons:
1. The people you are dealing with are probably not stupid enough to leave any evidence that would get them convicted. This is not likely to lead to any final actions on the SECs part.

2. In terms of killing the stock price, an announcement of an SEC investigation into stock price manipulation would probably be the next best thing to rumors of "mafia coercion used to manipulate the stock (complete with stories of brokers who resisted having their legs broken)."

Just my opinion.

I hope you can manage to arrange a buyback SOON!
