Ted, obviously it's illegal to muzzle the opposition, unlike in China.

But you can convince people not to listen to your opponents.

Once you succeed, the message of the opposition will sound like a cacaphony to those you've convinced. Then they can use their favorite "noise filters" to shut them up. Or just employ the "mental ignore."

Voila, the opposition is effectively silenced.
