So, I reassert that most everyone is in favor of energy independence, writ broadly. Being against some particular approach to it is a different matter.

I'm against what I think what most people mean by it, by your definition I guess I'm not against it, but I'm against most plans to get to it, and those that I'm not outright against I see as either tricky and difficult, or not very significant.

In simpler terms I'm against schemes and plans for energy I think it should be pretty much be left up to the market.

But you're not opposed to reducing usage, etc., which was my point.

I have no problem with anyone choosing to reduce usage.
