You ask:
> how much further can they downgrade asnd?

I am not sure if you have been paying attention to these analysts or not but as recently as last week (when the stock price in the $30-$35 range) we had an upgrade to a Strong buy (please refer to ASND NEWS ONLY thread or a few hundred posts back on this thread!), in addition to a reiteration of a buy! And in fact if you go to quote.yahoo.com you will see that about 16 analysts have ASND either as a buy or a strong buy (meaning these analysts' big shot clients badly want to get out of the stock and are in the process of doing so!), 11 have it as HOLD (meaning their big shot clients are ready to load up on the stock but are not in a rush), 1 analyst has it as a sell (meaning his big clients are already loading up on the stock!), and 1 analyst has the stock as a Strong Sell (meaning his big clients can no longer wait and are already in the process of loading up on the stock!). So as you can see the number of buy/Strong Buy outways the number of hold/sell/strong sell gradings meaning there are still more big boys of the Wall Street who want to get out of the stock than those who want to get into the stock! Once we have the number of buy/strong buy recommendation to become below the number of HOLD/Sell/Strong SELL, then that is when we will see an upward move in the stock price! There is absolutely nothing worse than an analyst grading a stock (for small investors) - Not even a dirty, thief politician, because if the politician is caught his actions can be viewed as illegal, but with these dirty analysts their actions are in fact within the legal framework!).
