Do you consider either Rubio or Crist to be better candidates? What little I know about Crist I actually like him and I don't find his positions totally repulsive. From what I have read about Rubio, I am not impressed at all.

Well, Crist is far better than Rubio, but he's mostly just a political opportunist. Meek is the best we have. A Democratic State Senator, Dan Gelber, was running in the Dem primary, but the party chased him out. Without fail, they will always side with the more conservative candidate. Which is why the party never gets a dime from me.

I share your frustration but what's the wisdom of running a progressive candidate in a sometimes purple/sometimes red state like FLA? Its seems like a waste of time and money.
