The public doesn't care who Steele is, but West is a hero to be discovered. Concur. Allen West knows himself. He understands America and our Constitution and he volunteered to defend both with his life and did just that. He is well educated, smart, articulate, and he has no desire to change America. His goal is to convince Congress to abide their oath and live by our current Constitution. AND...This is a biggy for me...He wears the Master Parachute Badge. Fulfilling the requirements for that badge takes years, a bit of extra courage, more day and night jumps, additional parachute schooling and training to fulfill, and requires significant dedication to our military combat arms. Master Parachutist is a special brotherhood in our armed forces and one I believe in. I was awarded my Master Parachute Badge in 1968. My closest and most trusted military friends and comrades today are all Master Parachutists.
