TA

It is not marketing that they need, it is PR. They need to address their future with the competition coming next year. Even if they talked about it in the last conference call, or in prior PR, they need to keep it up (no pun intended) in order to defend themselves against the PFE onslaught. If they get their stock in some strong hands the volatility will be greatly reduced. It is not in strong hands, so at this time no one beleives their success will last into next year. Only traders and momentum players in VVUS, even after three qtrs of profits.

Tuna,

Your return, with the anticipated flourish, arouses me from nodding off in boredom with VVUS's relentless decline in price as well as Leo's exercise in seeing how many times one can say the same thing by rewording it. However, seems like Leo has usurped your mantel of thick-skined, tolerant good nature<gg>. This post of yours raises many question, but one is personally irritating: Many months ago, I mentioned talking to someone in the University of Virginia Med School's Urology Dept, and you ridiculed the contact with HER--now here you are quoting a UVA urologist to bolster your point. Are you gender-biased, Doc? (I accept at face value that you are a physician even thought you offer no more proof tnan Bradpalm1 does that you are one) BTW. a stock with a market cap over $500MM is generally accepted to be a mid cap--not small cap--are you subliminally projecting a less than $500MM market cap for VVUS? <g>

Shorts "planted" on this thread? Come on, Tuna--your paranoia is showing again. Many more questions/comments on your post, but enough for now.

Regards
