To All Reasonable and Prudent People Out There

Monday was crazy, wasn't it? Lots of things were said, emotions were high for a good reason too. It's not necessarily just money for money's sake, but we have to work damned hard to earn it.

The 15 min time limit to change a post is great for most circumstances
but sometimes we wish we had been given an hour. Monday was one of those days. Give it up - take a deep breath and ignore the posters that agitate you and bring something positive to the thread, please.

PS: this of course is not directed at you Sergio.. Your name was just handy to respond to, Dear sweet reasonable and prudent person that you are :)

You know...this has been a very educational
experience (and don't anyone take this the
wrong way...because I think it's all been
a good thing) in both the mechanical and
logistical machinations around a merger such
as this and the effects all that has on the
individual investor when things don't just
turn out as expected. The first day was at
first a breath catcher and, I think, it was
OK (sort of) that some folks vented and voiced
their concerns in their own way. There was
this contest and everyone expected to see a
higher price and, magically, that all the
brokerage services would convert all their
shares immediately and correctly...and, of
course, we'ld all be rich. I expect sometime
in the future we will point to this stock
event as an example of what to expect on
another one...at that time there will pro-
bably be a few chuckles about what went on.

The problem with e-mail is that there is no
tonal inflection or body language (grins,
smirks, eye rolls, etc) to go with it so
what you read is what you get and that seems
to often result in flames.

The bottom line is that if you believe in
what you believed in last week then today
is OK..if not then you should sell and get
out - it's that simple (for me - beeg grin)

The thread will get back to where it's supposed
to be (I hope - I've gotten a lot out of it)...

keep the faith...

jf...

Sergio,

I also called the co. today, spoke with CFO's assistant.(Lisa) CFO was out at the time. First off Lisa said that the company officers felt bad about the way the conversion took place. " Very poor, for which they are concerned". Lisa did not "think" that a PR firm had been hired yet, but knew that plans were in the works. She took my other questions, regarding earnings and SSSS, stated that she would find out for me and call back tomorrow. Sorry I could not get more, but I would rather speak to the "horse" than the rider. I do plan on speaking with Mr. D. tomorrow as I will be home all day.

regards

Ken W
