Yep, the chinese in particular scare the crap out of me, especially since I don't see any government grants going into this like I've seen for advanced large scale batteries. I guess the government thinks we've got the lead here, unlike batteries, so they aren't pushing it. Actually, I'd be more worried about a smaller company taking the lead - sort of like Intel grabbing share from that pesky start up, Texas Instruments in the processor game.

Anyhow, it should be an interesting race when it finally gets into high gear.
