Mike: I understand the rules are different in Canada. However, the people want their certs. SOMEBODY has to come up with them. Continuing to come up with margin does not produce certs. Sooner or later, if there are more shares sold than issued, somebody has to buy existing certs from people that have them in their possession, to deliver to the people that want them. Exciting, no? al

Michael,

So Mork has to $$ in his margin account to stay alive. So if the stock goes to $10 he must have $1M in reserves. If it goes to $20 its $2M for his 100K short. Lets assume that he is 500K short and just not telling us. This would mean at $10/share he has to stick $5M in his margin account. Am I reading this right?

The rules are different in Canada, which is where Mork is short. He doesn't have to cover, just keeping enoug margin is enough.
There is no short squeeze. The MM's don't have to cover either. If you all keep buying, the price will go up. But who will you sell it to?

And who do you think is selling all the shares wheich you all bought over the past couple of days? Think about it.

So basically you are saying that Mork a US citizen is short in Canada and that SEC rules do not apply to him or to the MM's. Boy is that interesting. I wonder what the SEC would say about that? Think I will talk to my attorney now.
