The fact that you have discussed and/or championed a view maligning White's well documented research does nothing to refute it. Indeed, modern technology has given all of us access to virtually all the writings of the church fathers and other evidence quoted and utilized by White in his research. Every single assertion of fact that he makes can be verified by a few minutes of research and I am certainly prepared to cite the evidence for EVERY SINGLE FACT alleged by him. In the absence of any such question I will and do assert that his facts are correct. If someone wishes to take these myriad facts and interpret them in an illogical fashion as NOT supporting the vast war and schism that separates the superstitious thought of the bible from the findings of science over the centuries--then they are free to do so and I can only leave them to their "interpretation". But the evidence that the church opposed heliocentric beliefs and round earth and evolution and EVERY SCIENTIFIC FACT AND DISCOVERY THAT OVERWHELMED THEOLOGICAL DOGMA and and and and and and and and...is so well documented that one finds it odd that anyone would make light of such a demonstrable passion of acrimony. Science has forced the church to abandon virtually ALL of the normal meaning of their ancient stories such that her hermeneutics reads now like a hodgepodge of nonsense and chaos. Is there ONE scientific discovery in original instance that falsified church dogma that was not opposed tooth and nail by the church? If there can be found even ONE such instance it could be valuable information for thinking people everywhere. Perhaps someone will be kind enough to demonstrate an instance where biblical authority was overwhelmed by science and BIBLICAL AUTHORITIES did not deny that science--followed by the usual quibbles and dodges.
