As history (and the preceding post where the linked article could have been written by Mish) tell us, at this stage we expect various interests to begin attacking each other. Intolerance and mob psychology rear their ugly heads, incited by paid agitators.

"Their latest information is that Obama is bringing a special battalion of UN troops into the country so as to seize total power. Anyone who believes that will believe anything."

A few months ago we saw the same kind of idiocy posted here: Message 26217094

"...poorly educated, angry, fundamentalist and easily manipulated by the usual demagogues." Exactly.

For years they were captured by the call of spending without paying - "Read my lips: NO TAXES!" - and now they're not ready for the burden of repayment. They want politicians who tell them they don't have to pay - when that is plainly impossible. As if that wasn't enough, Wall Street, the Fed, and their captured legislators have added another $14 trillion dollars in losses to their burdens.

They're trapped. Incongruously, they believe it when Fox News tells them their friends are the politicos, corporations, financiers and banksters who ripped them off and put them in chains.

Talk about the Stockholm Syndrome...
