What I am noticing so far about this earnings season, is companies that beat expectations go up a bit, while companies that meet or disappoint even a little bit, get hammered. Look at QCOM, gapping down on a report that met expectations, and slightly revised guidance downward.

disclosure: I don't like what I'm seeing. I think the market has gone up too far too fast since last February, and the good news is in the stocks. So, I've been selling more the last few days, and have added shorts in solar stocks (FSLR, CSIQ), to my KLIC short. I'm now off margin.
