It goes into a spreadsheet.

I set one up for my picks, and occasionally when a round is underway, for one or two others, if I'm in contention.

From 100 initially, if he takes

100/3 for stock1 at a price of x, the shares for that line are

(100/3)/x

and (100/3)/y and (100/3)/z for stock2 and stock3.

Excel handles fractions accurately (to 18 or more decimal places), so there is no need to round it before it gets into Excel.

What Elroy displays for shares held is to 3 decimal places, but he stores the full accuracy.
