Yep, one of the ventures we need to rid ourselves of. That 121 million could go to the bottom line. Forget the carrot of another company divested and making money off of it. Not going to happen. And we don't need it to grow the business.

Could you post the 10Q link?
I can not believe how QCOM stock price is being treated by the wall street. Those who effect the QCOM price the most are the institutional holders. They must know more than the general public.
I think QCOM is hurting at several places, no mention of the display business (guess how much has been spent here; media flo business (guess again how it has been spent here); other investments that are below the radar (anyone knows how much they are spending there). QCOM has not shown a single $ in profits from any of these businesses. The only money making segment is the chip business and steady licensing fee collection. I think there is one or more serious problems that the general public can not figure out. I am sure QCOM is disclosing but average person can not read, it is buried.
I think we will be hearing the sounds asking Paul to leave.
He has not made a single success story. He has been the CEO for about five years, and CoB for 2.5 years. I am not satisfied with his performance. QCOM stock price needs to go up, compare the QCOM price to all other major and similar companies, we were below them by as much as 20% before the earning call, and after we will be at least below as much as 30%. This is sad. I am seriously thinking of selling everything in QCOM.

What's your guess Slacker on the total wasted on Flo to date? Without including the cost of spectrum in the last auction, my guess it has to be approaching $2B.
