Actually a lot of my ancestors were protestants who came here to escape Catholic persecution. Probably an affront to them for me to defend attackers of Catholicism .... but it seems to me they're going too far considering we're in the 21st century now.

Yes, it is obvious that the church is only constrained from absolute dominance by a government organized around principles of human rights and freedoms. And that is indeed a war because the church operates under the highest moral authority in the universe--that of the Holy word of God as contained in the several hundred thousand sectarian versions and the several billion volumes of differing "interpretations". Not "rights" but DUTIES! And we had better not forget that they MEAN IT!
