Save our Schools is a farce. Save our Salaries is what the protest is all about.

This isn't a black and white issue. Some teachers do in fact care about kids, class size and the quality of education. Class size as a measurement of the quality of education is often a union issue. But even if it is not, why shouldn't teachers argue for more wages? You expect them to argue for less money? Or do nothing?

The rise of unions was often a result of work safety issues. The mine explosion that killed 29 miners recently is an example of the sometimes benefits that organized workers can have that others don't. The mine operator had thousands of safety violations and just worked the system rather than spend the money to keep workers safe. Another example was the recent explosion at an oil refinery in Washington State where i think it was 5 workers were killed. This work place has been in a constant battle with the State over safety violations.

The country has seen a constant decrease over the years of union workers. It isn't a perfect system for sure - and many are paid too much I agree - but I just don't see that the organized working man is the problem in America.

I guess we can file that under -- whodathunkit?!?

While times change, the blueprint for revolution never does...

Trotsky's use of the trade unions was integral to
the Bolshevik Revolution.

" Trade unions are not just historically necessary;
they are historically inevitable as an organisation of
the industrial proletariat, and, under the dictatorship
of the proletariat, embrace nearly the whole of it."

-- Leon Trotsky

Trotsky/Obama... different time, same blueprint.

The Hegelian Dialectic is a terrible thing to waste...

Thesis: Capitalism

Antithesis: Communism

Synthesis: Fascistic corporatism for them & social(ist) collectivism for us.

From Democrat, to Progressive, to Socialist,
their etymologic metamorphosis is now complete:

Volcanic Ash Advisory Centers to punish climate-change violators during the 9/11 attack on America

Dear Prime Minister Harper:

On March 03, 2010, we (Field McConnell and David Hawkins) warned you by e-mail of our allegations that Maurice Strong and Colonel Russell Williams had made fraudulent use of the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centers to punish climate-change violators during the 9/11 attack on America. On March 04, 2010 we warned you that Strong and Williams appear to have used a murder-for-hire service offered by Northwestern University and its Kellogg School of Management through the Montreal VAAC network and an airborne internet to disrupt the security systems of U.S. command centers during the attacks of 9/11.
Your colleagues and advisors ignore our warning of last month; we have now decided to offer our services as expert witnesses to any plaintiffs in any class-action suit who might seek to recover damages from fiduciaries of the Met Office in the United Kingdom, and the various ICAO/IATA and VAAC organizations based in Montreal, in respect of their alleged role in the disruption of U.S. command centers during the attacks of 9/11 and the Volcanic Ash Advisory Center cat-bond insurance fraud allegedly executed over the past week.

For further information on our allegations in respect of the alleged role of Maurice Strong in the 9/11 attack, please refer to the lawsuit “Hawks CAFE v. Global Guardians” and related links below. If we can be of any assistance, let us know.

From: Field McConnell and David Hawkins, Forensic Economics, Cybersecurity and Counterintelligence at Hawks’ CAFE Sent March 03, 2010 Dear Prime Minister Harper: Volcanic Ash Advisory through Colonel Strong’s 9/11 Hawks CAFE believes that Maurice Strong hired Colonel Russell Williams the recently-arrested former commander of Camp Mirage to coordinate the 9/11 attack using the Montreal-based Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre, allegedly set up by Strong to enforce climate change rules through the U.N. International Civil Aviation Organisation … Colonel Russell is in jail; you must now deal with Strong” abeldanger.blogspot.com
