Government is responsible in messing up the nation's hospitals. First, they "up-regulated" them so that the costs have become prohibitive. That done, they applied pressure to discharge patients early - because it's too expensive to keep them in hospitals.

Now, many of those aggressively discharged patients often end up getting re-admitted. The government, of course, will keep track of re-admissions, and punish the hospitals. Some alternatives are becoming more popular, like LTAC's - Long Term Acute Care Hospitals. So, people get discharged early from "acute" hospitals, only to get transferred to a different hospital until they are actually ready to be discharged.

Funny. Who needs GovCare? -- we already have it for over 20 years (and don't even know it).
