Big sigh of relief!!!

The conferences need to reduce their tourneys in size. Not every team should qualify.

68 teams.

"...for now." -- Jim Isch, NCAA interim president

The question is, will we now have four opening round games nobody cares about, or maybe change things up and make the at-large bubble teams fight it out on the court. On the upside of the former plan, it might make the odds on a #1 seed going one-and-done little less astronomical, if they have to play a team that would be a 15-seed under the current system.
