<He did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally he is are not an American...> His formative years are well enough documented. In Hawaii he went to Punahou -- where all the kids are college bound and more often than not to Ivy League schools. They have an enormous endowment at that school -- they can afford to admit anybody who is bright enough, no matter what their income because the school is, to put it mildly, already rich from their regular clientelle. The same is true of Ivy League schools. Get a grip on reality -- Obama's life revolves around one main character trait -- he is very, very smart.
