Yep... sure is!

And the federal deficit is coming in on a trend to close out 8% lower then projections for it just three months ago.

And fiscal year 2011 will arrive 'round October... then elections in November... then the bipartisan deficit reduction commission will issue it's recommendations, and several commissions relating to tax reform efforts will weigh-in with their proposals and........... then?

Then it will be calendar year 2011, with a new Congress, financial reform and health insurance reform efforts on the books, and still-ongoing huge fiscal difficulties to be addressed, (hopefully a still strengthening national economy though I sure hope!), and... AT THAT POINT IN TIME... I predict that reforming our disgraceful and vastly over-complex and special interest corrupted loophole-ridden unproductive and growth depressing mess of a federal tax code will become ISSUE #1 for the nation.

Taxes and Deficit --- biggest issues 'just over the near-term political horizon'!
