Why so. He has been very bold without any drama. No rhetoric like "We will smoke them out from their foxholes" etc. Immigration has been an issue that has been swept under the rug for years. Now, in Obama fashion, it is time to take this on. I think its a very divisive issue. For an example, even though liberal, I think every effort should be made to reduce illegal immigration into this country. However, in the Dem party, there are many Latinos who would disagree with that position adamantly. I think the squabbling could be worse than HCR.
