We had an old canvas Kayak my uncle build with my Grandpa when he was a kid... had to patch it every summer, but it was a lot of fun. Canoed with neighbor kid all the time... did a canoe camp on Lake of the Woods one summer... Also learned to sail on "Cadets" when a kid... my Grandpa was a member of the "Yacht Club" on the lake (yea sounds fancy... unless you know the area!! LOL)... kinda funny, they looked my mom up just a few years ago to give her $1200 dollars (Grandpa was apparently an owner too) as the club got sold. too funny. DAK
