A mobile code factory has to be just about the stupidest idea yet. What are they? The Y2K paramedics? Nobody else seems to need to do this, yet everyone else seems to have plenty of contracts.

When Art Chiat was asked about how many [mobile code factories] Zitel currently had, he first answered that they were just now building one.

I loved this vague statement. I myself am building a starship capable of traveling at warp speed: since I just nailed one piece of wood to another, I can honestly claim I'm already in the process of building it.
