Re."I picked my stocks carefully and boldly -usually before the big boys smelled the blood"

I, admittedly, am an amateur at investing in the stock market, but am trying to learn. I am smart enough to recognize a wise investor and learn from him/her. I would certainly like to know how to pick stocks carefully and boldly before the big boys smell blood.
BTW, bought into FLC today.
Regarding analysts, they are at least cousins in terms of their motivation, and their opinions do contribute to the price of a stock - hence, at my level it would be foolish to ignore them in general. We are all analysts in a sense, with slightly differing goals. Your goals, I suspect, are more like mine in contrast to other analysts. That is why I find your opinion so valuable. Regards
