This blogger does not understand the difference between Flash OFDM and Adobe Flash...

>One of the companies that QCOM bought back in 2005 was developing LTE base on Flash being an important part of Smartphones and as you may have noticed Apple has so far refused to use Flash in the iPhone & iPad.>

No doubt QCOM is every fund's favorite way of hedging its long tech names, against a rising market. Just look at the downside pressures and volumes that have accompanied the last two earnings releases - disproportionate to the facts, and feeding upon themselves. Since the company doesn't see a return to more normalized growth until late 2010, or 2011, it's safe to join the herd so far this year. But like every other "sure thing" trade, one day all this negativity will be replaced by the same crowd again construing all news as positive, and bidding this stock higher. Rumors of the death of growth at Qualcomm are premature IMO, though currently popular. This company, and this stock, are far from finished. The overwhelming negativity and skepticism surrounding both, set up a great contrarian opportunity.
