I'm not real sure how much "harm" Obama has done so far.

I'm not crazy about how the stimulus was structured, but there WOULD have been a stimulus even if Ron Paul had been elected. It's just a matter of how much less it would have cost and how it would have been structured.

To say that there wouldn't have been ANY stimulus or bailouts of the auto companies seems totally naive because with nothing in either of those areas things would have been MUCH worse. It was BUSH that set up TARP and the first money for the auto industry and I didn't see a lot of Republicans screaming NO...

The healthcare thing doesn't really kick in for a few years and isn't really costing that much so far so they can repeal it in 2013 and just save the good parts before all the costs come into play if it looks like it will be a total bust.

I'm pretty sure the Republicans will get back control of the House in November if not the Senate too so they'll have a chance to BLOCK just about any spending they want. I think it will be FUN starting next January to see them start having to put up VOTES rather than their loud mouths on these issues.

We had 6 years of FULL Republican control from 2000-2006 and all we got was higher deficits and increased spending with earmarks up the wazooo...
