It's all relative. You'll be fine if you lose up to half your mental faculties, at least compared to the average person . If you lose more than half then go into government and you'll still be fine.

I had a couple massive concussions when I was young (one where I was knocked out for about 90-minutes and another where I was temporarily blinded), so I'm at a much greater risk for Alzheimers because of those and a couple other minor concussions, so I'm probably less likely to "see" 96 than you are to see 95 even if I live to be 96.

I've actually told my kids that when I check out it will probably be from pneumonia, as I've had it twice and probably have lung damage from exposure to industrial toxins in hundreds of factories in China during my times there.
