Rather harsh wouldn't you say? Not worth the cost of the pixels.

Just because the ME isn't on the front burner doesn't mean that we can't learn as much as we can about the issue....

With all the instabilities in the ME and with Iran well on its way to become a nuclear superpower, you can't seriously say that this is irrelevant to the US. I wish it were less relevant... if anything, it's too important. If nothing else, a big blowout in the ME would throw the rest of the world into an economic collapse, with starvation and what not. Surviving oil producers like uncle Hugo and the Russians maybe would make a killing for a while, but they would be under great pressure. In the end, everyone loses, big time.

Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows the entire ME is important. It could be where the first nuclear war starts....

And on top of that Elroy, IMO, that was incredibly rude, in addition to showing total ignorance of the entire ME situationin which the world finds itself.....

Elroy, we have a President who knows almost nothing about the Mideast, who is getting crummy advice, but whose advisers keep saying that I/P is incredibly important, it's the lynchpin of everything, gotta sort that out first. Meantime, the Arab world has fixed it so it's completely unsortable.

The irony is, the Arabs have been hoist on their own petard, now that Iran has entered the game in the big way. NOW, the Arabs would like to change something, if only to deal with the threat of Iran, but THEY can't shift Hamas or Hizbullah either.

Wish we could ignore the ME. But with Obama blundering about, it may get a whole lot worse in a hurry.
