Not in the southern part. Considering that they push sunflowers for the northern range, I suspect that is also true there. Hmm, after googling for a while, North Dakota ranks 43 in annual precipitation and South Dakota is 41.


I knew ND and SD were bad.....even MN doesn't get much precipitation for all its 15K lakes. I was thinking maybe KS or MO as you get away from the Rocky MT. shadow but they probably don't get much either.
