The market could correct like Jan/Feb at any time. Daily charts and weekly charts are tremendously overbought. It's only when you look at the longer term monthly charts that it becomes apparent that this bull run is not over. At least not in my humble opinion. There is some sentiment on the chart but mostly it's just rationalizing previous technical analysis levels that corresponded with previous long term market tops.

The only sentiment is the VIX is shown. We don't have to worry too much until the VIX starts making a series of higher highs and higher lows as the market trades to higher highs.



I wonder if the go away in May maxim might at least succumb the market to some short term selling then?

But a true market top? There will be numerous other market breadth divergences when that happens. Truth be told I'm getting better at reading the charts but no one knows in advance when a top or bottom ultimately hits except in hindsight. Oh sure sometimes we call it but more often than not we made the same call a dozen times and were wrong.

Me... been there... done that...
