Weekend Edition Word Of The Day: *Hear* To listen... to gather information through the ear. One of the five senses. As you get older you may lose the abilitie to hear properly or at all and may need the assistance of a hearing aid. Some people hear and understand....some people hear only what they want to. Hearing is also a defense for humans and animals as well as a sense for understanding and hunting. Some people only want to hear what they want too. Some predators claim to "hear things."
