When people are not allowed to think and when they think in secret they are not allowed to publish their thinking...this is not a good thing. If the Church had ruled during the golden age of Greece there would have been no Socrates, no Plato, no Hippocrates, no Euclid, no Euripides, no Pericles, no Solon, no Aristotle...no western culture we enjoy today. There would have been no democracy and no learning. What would there have been? Well...we have a history of it, don't we??
