For fun - this is from a blog at the Ashville paper, they are running an ongoing one during the Obama's visit:

3:25 p.m. Making his wife jealous

Dave Hillier, chairman of the Asheville Regional Airport Authority, made his wife jealous Friday without doing a thing wrong.

Hillier’s wife is a big Obama fan and wished she could be at the airport today to see the president and Michelle Obama arrive, even though as it turned out her husband didn’t closer than about 125 feet to the president.

“She’s been giving me a hard time for four or five days,” Hillier said.

“It’s amazing how much is involved in moving a person from one place to another when that person is the president of the United States,” Hillier said after Obama’s 20-vehicle motorcade rolled off the tarmac.

Not that Hillier is complaining. “We hope he comes every week. It’s a great thing for Asheville,” he said.

3 p.m. A unique perspective

Doris Richardson, Mary Ettison and Tywania Plummer, who are African-American, joined more than a hundred other people who stationed themselves behind Three Brothers Restaurant along I-240 near Montford Avenue. As the motorcade – police motorcycles, a half-dozen black SUVs, a couple of trucks, Highway Patrol cars and an ambulance – sailed past, they cheered wildly, occasionally hollering, “I thought I’d never see it!” and “Hallelujah!”
