Chi-X, Because todays news was "news" to the CNBC announcer, I don't think he was aware that this was announced yesterday and the market reacted positively. I think ASND's announcement is being interpreted as management being conservative.

Lookout BEloooooooowwwwwwwwwww. As far as people dreaming of a take over. ASND will have to get in line behind other networkers in the junk pile (ex. SHVA). If someone is going to take this puppy over, they may as well wait for it to hit the teens. I heard the bulls saying this same crap (about buyouts) when ASND was trading in the low 40's.
