The "Con" will be a poor Republican candidate. That is key. Here in California (as someone else pointed out earlier), Meg Whitman and Steve Poisner, both Republicans, are going after each other with some of the most vicious ads to be aired in a long time. It's turned me off to both of them. Neither of them have any credibility now. They've handed the election to Jerry Brown. He doesn't have to do anything. It shows that the Republican party has no control or say about what's going on - IMHO. They're coming off as disorganized and inept. With that numbnuts Steele leading the party, it'll be a miracle if Republicans are successful in the November elections.
