Now this is a curious irem...hell I have seen this with CYMI a hundred times: FOCUS Enhancements says volatility from bad quote SUDBURY, Mass., Nov 5 (Reuters) - FOCUS Enhancements Inc (FCSE) said on Wednesday that on November 4 a market maker submitted an erroneous quote with an offer below the bid price which caused the volatility in its shares on Tuesday. The company said that the differential between the bid and the erroneous quote triggered transactions below the market. ''It is unfortunate this error triggered low selling and perpetuated a temporary depreciation in FCSE stock,'' said FOCUS chairman and CEO Thomas Massie. ''Our fundamentals remain very strong and we feel that our biggest successes lie in our future,'' he added. The stock which closed at 4-11/16, is now trading up 13/16 at 5-1/2. FOCUS Enhancements develops and markets advanced, proprietary video scan conversion products for the computer and television industries.
