KT, Racism has something to do with it, but it's a minor issue compared to economics and other factors. The racism card is something scumbags on the left use to try implement their own views and values on those of free people that disagree and to consolidate their power. You should come to Queens NYC. There are hundreds of thousands of immigrants from every singly place on earth. A person of European descent like me is just one of many minorities. No one gives a rats ass unless they are here illegally. If you ask blacks and legal Hispanics about it a majority of them agree with the law even though there are heightened concerns about the small element of racism. What people object to is the greater supply of illegal labor depressing wages for everyone and that fact that they legally pay large amounts of taxes for schools, health care, emergency health care, medicaid, fire/police departments etc.... that many illegals get for free (or at least way less than their cost). There are also elements of increased crime involved. The US government then seems to do more to make the illegals comfortable than actually trying to stop the flow in and get those already here out. A solution is actually pretty easy. Every person has to prove citizenship to be hired and it's a felony if you hire an illegal. If you want to start solving the problem in two or three weeks, then make the penalty for knowingly hiring an illegal death by firing squad. lol No jobs, at least some will go home. After that you can start addressing the freeloaders one by one with laws like these. No one in Washington wants to fix this because some are in bed with businesses that want cheap labor and others see future democrats and unions members. Both are traitors that deserve the penalty for being a traitor (I think that's death, but I'm not sure).
